Well, I am learning a little as I try my hand at this… I’ll need to consider using different drawing paper, so that it fits my scanner.  I also need to play around with character design and finishing my artwork.  While I like some,  I know for the  ten minutes it took to draw everything, I can do better.  Also increase the contrast so the inking doesn’t look grey.

I need to also develop a universal size for each strip this one was 850 pixel wide along with text (title right now are Helvetica Neue and ballons are Evil Genius BB.  I need to remember to sign each strip (doh!).  Fortunately… I do have a little time to figure this out.

The initial process:

1. draw comic (leaving the top 1/3 of each panel for text)

2. scan at 600 dpi greyscale

3. play around in photoshop adding text (tried bmp- bad idea)

4. scaled image to 72 dpi and 850 pixels wide

5. save for web.

6. uploaded and crossed fingers.

Testing… Testing… 1, 2, 3…
