When trying to take iconic figures and make monkeys out of them some work, some don’t. I did try a “BatMINIon” but I really didn’t like the way it turned out. MINIons tend to have their ears sticking out, and the cowl hid that so someone could get confused and think that instead of a monkey it was a wombat, or something like that. Then it dawned on me that there was a solution… and this is what I came up with. The number comes from 2014 being the 75th anniversary of the publication of Detective Comics #27 (first appearance of Batman). Robin didn’t make it into the comics for a while after that. The badge was one of my “on the road extras” that found a good home.
As for the actual MINIon it is for a faithful sidekick who helped along the road with lots of “trivial” things throughout the journey.
