I do apologize for only having two comic strips out this week.  The week was really filled with Dr. Who cache prep and with all the the caches now sent out waiting to be placed, “Creativity Project 2011” is coming to a close.  I am happy with its conclusion and am looking forward to seeing where and how they are being placed.  Now I just need to get a bunch of other drawing done (some for the Dr. Who caches, some for GeoWoodstock), then again with Hemi around I may not get as much done since his favorite place to rest is on my hand.  Maybe Cecil is onto something.

Happy Weekend everyone!

Cecil is watching everyone.  He’s got files on everyone and at least 18 1/2 minutes of tape (that’s what they used to call mp3 files kids).   Being vigilant, always watching… unless he’s eating a banana or playing a game, or eating a banana, or finding a geocache, or eating a banana or watching TV, or eating a banana, or sleeping, or eating a banana. Oh, and I really don’t have anything against his holiness, it’s just he tends to end up on any list dealing with worldwide conspiracies, so why not Cecil’s?
Did you know if you put an infinite number of monkeys with an infinite number of typewriters in a room they would be able to produce the complete U.S. Tax code in about 15 seconds?  The works of Shakespeare?  Probably not, that stuff actually makes some sense.
Yes, I procrastinate.  Yes, taxes are due Friday (really Monday due to a holiday that seems to only be held in Washington D.C., then again I’m not complaining) .  So Sue has learned after years of marriage that unless she wants to do more than remind me what her Social Security number is it is best to leave me alone with my papers.  She learned from her mother that if you know how to start the lawn mower you will end up mowing the lawn- so if she learns how to use Turbo Tax, she will end up preparing the taxes.  Cecil- he just wants my undivided attention… I justydon’t want to start over, again.
Hmmm… Cecil’s been busy with other things (caching trips and the like) so he finally  decided to audit (bad word around this time of year) his progress on the various plans & schemes he has running.  This is what happens when you don’t have a reliable right hand minion… As far as other plans and schemes, the Doctor Who Cache Series should be ready to go in a week!  I heard back from my marvelous friend Cherie who was creating the stickers and have lined up 11 fantabulous cachers to become “companions” and take care of these caches adding a little something to each to make it uniquely there own.  Look for them soon, I’ll post as they are published- all I can say is how excited I am over how this is turning out.  The caches will be coast to coast… That is one of Cecil’s plans that hasn’t gone wrong… yet. I’ve still working through getting articles together for IndianaGeocaching.com, a website I took over just a few weeks ago. So Cecil might be having troubles, but things seem to be going well right now.  Oh wait, taxes are due soon aren’t they, and midterms?  I think Hemi ate my calendar…
So now we know Cecil’s plan to take over the universe… and how ADHD has once again saved galaxy. Flash Fact- Riverside, Iowa celebrates an annual “TrekFest” which has welcomed many stars of Star Trek. Geocachers, there is only one cache in town and it celebrates the Captain of the U.S.S. Enterprise: not Robert April, Christopher Pike, or any of the other guys & gals, just James R. Kirk, (Whoops! That was changed after “Where No Man has Gone Before) I mean James Tiberius Kirk. How will all this change now that they have rebooted the franchise and Kirk has been born in space? Cecil might be the only one who knows. Time to head home.
