I was that unlucky soul but I can't complain, I did get into and RPG, plenty of painting events, Axis and Allies, and Battletech. . . . not to bad a haul all things considered. Down side of registering while you're also touring NYC.

Last year I was lucky enough to get a few things settled because of a friend- I was in Europe at the time. I've learned a bit more about putting together a wishlist for next year. I'm still keeping track of some of the games, Although it is nice to have some time to chill. I heard the guy running the Orc Stomp 5K has said that people drop out throughout the summer and spots open up.

I'll keep and eye on it.

I was completely and utterly shocked to get 123rd!!! I told wifey "I will be home late each night" and she said "ok".

You might also consider buying a lottery ticket. 😁

You lost me for most of that, but the 5k sounds great! If you ever want to go to Phoenix Fan Fusion my place is available for you - easy light rail trip to the convention center.

I may take you up on that sometime… then again I hear the curling club has some cool Bonspiels too!

Bruce always does a fantastic job of writing what he experienced . Here a swirl of activities that most would envy his having the time to enjoy! I have a feeling these games provide the player an 'out of this world' time and experience - probably a good thing these days!
