My vintage enjoyed 'Classic Comics Illustrated' as a way to quickly read our English assignment. We'd walk the streets of Broad Ripple hunting fo our current reading! Careful not to trip on the streetcar rails! And I never became a fiction fan - the subject of almost 100% of today's comics - too involved in 'reality', like the news.
