I love Doctor Who AND Sherlock! I would have loved to sit in on those sessions, although it sounds like the DW event wasn't very informative about the show's future.
Looking at your haul photo, I spy an 80s flashback. The little koala bear clip-on!! I remember how popular those were when I was in Junior and High School. It is fun to see them again. And I'd love to borrow "I Hope This Email Finds You in Hell" one day... it sounds right up my alley. LOL
And the piece by Tim Kirk is great!! Not terribly far off your style, don't you think?
With the Doctor, I don’t think anyone knows what the future is going to be. The Sherlock Holmes panel gave me so many titles to hunt down… I just started Pat Murphy’s The Adventures of Mary Darling. A take on Peter Pan. What did the parents do when they discovered Wendy, John, and Michael missing? Ask “Uncle John” and his friend to help find out who kidnapped them!
The 2028 WorldCon location is Brisbane! So lots of koalas were floating around.
Disneyland is viewed by many natives as another tourist trap - for couple hundred per person per day. But for families it becomes a wonderful memories of numerous fantasies. And the convention sounds like you can have a blast if you have a couple under your belt and know hiw to handle the swarming hordes! I assume Cecil is an excellent guide!
