I blame working at an elementary school… although the massive viralness of “Do You Wanna Go to Starbucks?” recently which led me down the winding Internet path to things like “Do You Wanna Kill The Batman?”  and may have pushed me over the edge.

What have I been doing during this extended hiatus?  Besides my day job, traveling, and watching “Frozen”? Actually taking up the a few challenges before Indy PopCon at the end of May.  Which includes creating more My Geek Odyssey SWAG for people who drop by my table to say “ook!”  I’ve got some buttons (because tiny buttons are “hip”), the print I had for the INDYpendent Show of Cecil & Bernice, and (wait for it…) hopefully a real live printed comic book!  It’s suppose to arrive about a week before the convention.  Nothing new when it comes to material, but it’s a big step actually getting some of this printed on actual dead trees.  It’s kinda scary since for the last five years (Yes, it has been five years) having all my work in pixels only on the web makes it kind of surreal.  Having an actual printed copy of even a few things makes it very real and for me a little terrifying.

Hopefully Hemi will let me get back into a regular schedule as the Summer starts in a few weeks.  That’s the plan at least.

There’s no escaping it…
