As you have all had to endure through the sporadic nature of my posts- I’ve been back to school now for 14 days.  This is the time where I try to set the tone for the year and get to know my class.  What about this class compared to others… I do have some characters, but I can’t think about a year when I haven’t.  That is one of the things that is “great” about teaching every year is different.  Any teacher who doesn’t take some time to get to know their students and making changes to meet their needs… well, lets say I don’t hold in high regard.  As the year begins it is a little time intensive since this is the only way to make sure the year ends well.  This makes it so it takes a little time to get a routine going- including this comic’s updates.

If you check back on the blog entries, I had some thinking and decisions to make. right now here is the solution I have come up with-  I will continue to do the strip 5 days a week… the only change will be color strips.  I’m not dropping them so don’t be concerned (Ben), but for the short term I’ll be posting them as I do them, not on a regular schedule.  Ben will get them and unless I have a massive buffer built up I’ll post them when needed- maybe on the weekend, maybe on a Wednesday… who knows?  I sure don’t.

Oh, and anyone know how I can get this super-soaker away from Mongo?

  1. Taking the super-soaker away from Mongo would make him sad. There are several ways to make it fun. I think you should get a super-soaker and fill it with cheese sauce and soak Mongo!

(please note…. Don’t tell Sue I said that. Utilize this idea when Sue is not home and have the mess cleaned up prior to her arrival home. Hemi may be able to assist in clean up.)
